PLEASE NOTE: This chart represents the cost of attendance for the semester abroad. It includes estimates for all included and non-included items. All students pay GT in-state tuition rates. Please note that these estimates are subject to change.

Costs in the preceding chart are estimates for undergraduates based on tuition rates posted by the GT Bursar for students. Undergraduate tuition rates, graduate tuition rates, and MBA tuition rates vary. Please check the GT Bursar's web site to confirm actual tuition rates based on degree, term, or level of study. Actual costs may be higher or lower than those listed above, depending on the exchange rate and personal spending habits/needs.

Other financial information: 

DAAD (German Academic Exchange Service) created the merit based EDU.de Fellowships to support undergraduate US and Canadian students interested in studying, doing research, or completing an internship in Germany. The scholarship review committee is looking for students who are currently Sophomores or Juniors in any academic field, are seeking DAAD support for a 4-10 month period in Germany during the German academic year, and create realistic and creative project plans that demonstrate a clear need to spend time in Germany. Applicants should possess outstanding academic records and personal integrity. The application deadline is generally in late January for the following academic year. 

Stuttgart applicants can also apply for a Baden-Württemberg Scholarship.  The average amount of this or a DAAD scholarship through Stuttgart is 300-400 EUR per month for up to ten months.  Please ask OIE for more information. 

Federation of German-American Clubs (FGAC); €6,000 stipend disbursed as €600 per month, for 10 months. For more information about this scholarship and academic-year study in Germany, please contact the Exchange Advisor.
